 Meet the Founder
Soaring Duck was founded in February 2003 by Nancy Fortunel. A graduate of
the University of Pennsylvania, Nancy spent 5 years working in Media Planning at Scali, McCabe, Sloves,
Inc. (NYC) and Grey Advertising (San Francisco). She supervised and coordinated
development of multi-million dollar international and domestic media campaigns
on behalf of clients such as Bank of America and Maxell. She also spent several
years in Paris teaching English and raising 3 children. She enjoys playing the
piano, competing on her club's tennis team, running (2 marathons so far), and
spending time with her husband Christian, a native of France, to whom she has
been married for 20 years.
